It’s none of the above; it’s a physical description or a phenotype – a stereotype is false because it isn’t true unless you have personally evaluated every member of the group you’re trying to describe. Learn to use English properly.

One could refer to Asian culture just as one could refer to European culture, African culture or Middle Eastern culture. There are many differences in each region, but there are numerous similarities and shared beliefs as well.

Regardless of whether the shirt was a joke or not, the fact that they made a shirt like that (and specifically in Japanese) just further on proves the point of this article. There obviously is a large audience out there that ‘gets’ the shirt which only implies that this Japanese GF ‘fetish’ is well known in society. I’m Japanese American & although the shirt doesn’t offend me, it doesn’t really make me laugh either. It’s kinda awkward & borderline creepy. You don’t see shirts or any “jokes” like that made about any other race.
