Wow! Emotion is part of human nature. I'm sorry you are a stone cold logic machine. Maybe there would be no knee-jerk rhetoric if there hadn't been male groins ruling society, oppressing women in the name of God for hundreds of years. You can't understand because you have privileges beyond your willingness to decipher. You admire the few females capable...well I pity any female that might fall into your apparently heartless trap. To dismiss billions of women as simpletons only makes you yourself a simpleton, for only a fool would attempt to generalize an entire population of women as "beneath them." Get your self esteem from a more noble source and stop using women as your step ladder.

There are MANY more factors involved in THAT statement. How about women being forced to quit or FIRED for, heaven forbid, getting pregnant. How about women that get pregnant young and are left alone with a child and never get further education. How about men that "work" harder than women but really just get paid more because the world is unequal. How about men that get hired over women and therefore a woman is left in a crummy or no job? How about women that lose their jobs because of sexual advances made upon them and not fulfilled because the woman, again, heaven forbid, has some self respect. How about picking up your own damn socks? How about the overwhelming association men have with marriage meaning a woman in the home cleaning? Look at the stats before you generalize so ignorantly.

You know, if women are so "feeble" at logical thinking, how do you explain the fact that I've been admitted to a top-ten PhD program in math, with a prestigious government fellowship?

Do you think I've aced my math courses by clucking?

Oh, and what about the fact that I'm in a happy, long-term relationship with a man? Did I get that by being an evil feminazi? Really?

Obbop, you're stupid. And bitter. And pathetic.

Now go and make me a sandwich.

Kisses,
Simone

Usually, when there's a problem in a relationship, I advise talking to the other person.

However, knowing nothing about your life situation, I can't give a fair assessment of whether she should be doing more.
