HighJive noticed something interesting about LifeLock advertising: the potential victims of identity theft are relentlessly white, but the perpetrators of the crime appear to be overwhelmingly of color.
Their website features only potential victims. Every one is white:




The men that they represent as thieves in their advertising appear to be of color. HighJive found the following two advertisements (I confirmed the former, finding it at the NY Post):


This advertising reflects the choices of one or a team of individuals who feel comfortable reproducing the idea that criminals are all men of color… more insidiously, it reproduces the same idea in our subconscious minds.
