"Deserving" great sex is like "deserving" a good meal, or "deserving" a good book/TV show/game/etc. The pioneers, while they may have wanted great sex, as others have pointed out, may not have felt they "deserved" it, because they didn't have that assumption of free time. I'm not sure what the advertisers think defines "the sex you deserve."
