Honestly, before I read the article, the scenery reminded me a bit of Fallout 3, a game where most of civilization has ended due to a nuclear war, and people now live in postapocalyptic settlements. Much of the game’s aesthetic was bits and pieces of the old world scattered around, such as bits and pieces of Washington DC’s monuments, cars, etc.

I remember reading an article about how many in Greenland are profiting from global warming. Greenland technically is still Danish land but Denmark wants to give Greenland independence. They are unable to do so because 40% of Greenlands money comes from Denmark, but with global warming melting the ice, they are discovering resources they didn’t have access to before.
