My Sis, Keely W., alerted me to these “high tide heels” (pics found here and here). Apparently they were designed by Lisa Carney for a fashion show, but there has been some demand. I do not know if they are in production or not.
What’s the sociological import? Oh I don’t know. How about the requirement that women do femininity at all costs and at all times? The bizarreness of the fashion industry? Come on, ya’ll, I know you can come up with something good.
