So, apparently, according to this Moosehead Light Beer commercial, homosexual gestures are acceptable if performed by two [blond, tanned, boringly pretty] women for the delectation of straight male observers. However, if the men exchange sensual gestures with each other, it “doesn’t work.” This is a great example of heteronormative white masculinity defining itself by what it is not, viz., homosexuality.
