Perhaps, but that is such a strange sentiment in a used car advertisement. They aren’t even called “used” cars anymore; they’re “pre-owned.” I can’t believe that their use of such a young looking model is simply coincidental. The ad is trying to reconcile the fact that the car (and the girl) have been around the block with her youth, and frankly I find it unsettling.

I’m not even entirely sure what the message is supposed to be for the used BMW ad. “It’s not new, but it’s still disturbingly young looking.” ??? The model looks sensually into the camera, and has a rather leading caption, and looks about fourteen.

My favorite part of the top one is that it’s strawberry scented. Because, you know, virgins smell like strawberries.
