Evan is a graduate editor at The Society Pages and a doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on political culture, public opinion, and religion and secularism across a range of institutional and community contexts. His dissertation work examines the political impact of America’s growing non-religious population with funding from UMN’s Interdisciplinary Doctoral Fellowship and Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship programs. Evan holds a BA in political theory and social policy from Michigan State University and an MA in sociology from UMN.
