Isn’t part of the problem the denial that teenagers have sex and actually have romantic partners? For those kids (especially younger women) who can’t say that honestly to their parents, neighbors, teachers, and religious leaders, how can we expect them to talk honestly about ridicule, verbal harassment, physical abuse, and dating violence?
